Let's take a quicker look at that actual lineup, because that whole payroll has been on the IL almost the entire season, with the exception of Shohei Otani.
We've seen IL stints from Mookie Betts.
We've seen IL stints from Freddie Freeman.
The entire pitching staff, Blake Snell's barely pitched this year at all.
Glass now hasn't pitched at all this season.
Edwin Diaz has pitched in, I think, three games for the Dodgers.
There's been $170 million of the Dodgers' active payroll on the IL.
And the guys that have been absolutely doing it is guys like Justin Robleski, a guy who's Major League Minimum, just got named an All-Star.
Andy Paez just got named an All-Star, Major League Minimum.
Miguel Rojas, who saved the World Series for the Dodgers last year, is on a very low deal.
So the Dodgers have this incredible next-man-up mentality that is ungodly frustrated if you want the Dodgers to lose.
