I really had no electrical background.
Just worked at the paper mill and kind of knew that I didn't want a place to just blow up on me and the next thing I know I lose my job.
I've been given this opportunity, so I feel like I'm going to seize that opportunity, you know?
These companies are just paying massive amounts of money, and I'd be a fool not to chase it.

And after about the fourth week, I really was just getting homesick.

So I pretty much told them, like, I'm not going to make eight weeks without seeing you guys.
I beat them to the hotel and I remember my girlfriend and daughter pulling up, you know.
My girlfriend rolled my daughter's window down.
I just remember kind of being elated to see them, you know.
Just kind of like a sigh of relief, just grab them and hug them and kind of forget about everything else for a few minutes there.
It was just good to kind of be around them.
We spent 24 hours together and then...
You know, my girlfriend and daughter got back in the car and drove to Maine, and I got back in my truck and drove back to Niagara Falls.
We're a young family.
I just bought a house.
