Now, obviously for him, he's the defensive passing game coordinator, the secondary coach here, the Broncos.

I mean, he had interest last year from other teams to go be a DC.

He chose to stay in Denver.

So if Vance does leave, he would be the next in line to go at this point to run the defense.

I don't disagree on the notion about the value.

I don't see Sean Payton stepping away anytime soon.

Even if they win.

That's not Sean's DNA.

Sean's cut from a different cloth in a sense of being that kind of old school where what is Sean going to do?

He stepped away from the game for one year and had a great gig at Fox.

but found himself missing the game more than ever.

Just because, like, there's that adjustment.

And football players deal with it all the time, too.

It was like, all right, hey, I'm retiring.
