Uh and then the dad is like

Um and and saying
used the uncle to and then the uncle got him the job at the bakery.
But it yeah, the the dad was like
has the right idea of of how Charlie should be treated and the correct moral stance, but is too lazy almost to really like stand up for him and do fully do the right thing.
He's like too passive.
Um so that's kind of his, you know, where he fails.
And then the sister seems like this mean, mean character.
um in all of the memories because but you know, as a parent I saw the twist coming a lot more this time with the sister because when he me m meets her at the the very end of the book, there's this great kind of Katsuhohu Ishiguro esque scene right at the end of the book where he goes back and meets the mom, finds out she has dementia and then sees the sister and the sister's really nice to him and like, Oh my God, mom told me you were dead.
Like where have you been?
Uh
She's also like a little desperate for help.
Like you're you're smart now.
Can you help me with mom?
My life is hard.
And he realizes that the sister is is uh, you know, a person like anyone else and has a a tough life.
And also along the way, all these memories are kind of it seems like the sister is being mean to him, but really she's just she's just looking for her own life.
