There's well and and and you know, the there's it's not dealt with explicitly in the text, but there's, you know, the implication of a lot of the thinking that we have now about um how you know how our brains treat a physical injury versus um any sort of mental um or intellectual disability or other other mental health issues and how how our brains
brains just can perceive and sympathize automatically with something we can see that isn't that is an injury or a health issue um versus ones that are uh m that are in the brain and are more um ephemeral and that uh that has not gone away.

That seems to be something that w we're we have to intellectually override our our the way our
brains perceive because they just do perceive it that way.
Um so it's an interesting book for a million reasons.
I also wanted to bring up one little, one last little tidbit, which was I loved the way that Keyes did the zenith of his intellectual powers when when you have that little scene where he kind of reaches this nirvana where he's flowering from non-existence into existence.
uh spiritual and um abstract scene.
And I liked the depiction of like what the top of the human in intellect could be.
