And I think we're leading to a topic or a conversation of, is this going to affect coaches wanting to go there in the future?
And that's the one thing I don't buy whatsoever.
I do not think what they're doing to Bruce Cassidy will have any impact whatsoever on getting the next coach and the coach thereafter.
And I'll tell you why.
Because there's 32 jobs in the world, and there's a zillion people who want them, and there's probably...
250 that are well qualified for it, and money talks.
And for 99.9% of people, it's just like when, oh, free agents aren't going to want to go play for Chris Drury in New York.
Yeah, I don't believe that.
It's New York.
It's New York Rangers.
People aren't going to want to go coach in Vegas and have no state income tax and golf a ton and live in the sun and have a big house that doesn't cost as much as it costs.
I will push back with my every single breath that no matter what happens in these situations, the reality is there is such a limit and these jobs are in such high demand.
If they want John Tortorella to be extended, he will extend, which I think that they should.
If they want to go out and move on to the next coach, I do not believe getting whomever they want in the door as the next coach will be anything remotely close to a problem.
I truly don't believe that.
And Jeff, I could say this for myself, who have made decisions in my career based on money and chased certain things and said, you know what?
The money's so good, I'll make it work.
That's just reality.
No matter how many times I've done it and no matter how many times I've said I'll never do it again, I'm sure I'll do it again at some point.
Everybody's so sure.
