I mean, I can kind of understand why after 10 years of being beaten down with like relentless attacks of fake news and bias, it don't really exist.
And so I think CNN has candidly sort of painted themselves into a corner.
And as I was saying earlier, I'm not sure Mark Thompson really came in with much of a vision on how to sort of bring CNN's voice.
You know, Jeff Zucker really well.
He was a genius at sort of getting sort of a strong point of view.
And again, right before he left, CNN was the top rated cable news network in 2021, which is stunning to look back at.
It benefited from the second impeachment trial, January 6th.
Huge news things were happening, but also CNN was sort of leaned into the anti-Trump thing, which was
You could question its journalistic integrity, but it was good for business.
And I will say that I'm skeptical that the Ellisons are going to come in and try to make CNN in an image that's something else.
The biggest thing is we need transparency, accountability, and we need justice for the victims, and we need to make sure we find out how can we write laws to prevent human trafficking and prevent people of that evil level infiltrating the highest levels of government.
