I think it's one of these things that I can speak on behalf of most golfers that play the game to a certain level, is that if you do black out and not think about it, like in a pro-am, how many course records are shot in a pro-am?

How many course records are shot when you're not really interested or not really bothered?

Or how many pucks a hold after the guy's been missing pucks in a pro-am all day long?

And I happened to hold a putt for a birdie.

So this putt doesn't matter for this guy.

But he has a practice putt anyway.

And, of course, holds it.

He says, God, if I could do that.

How easy is this game when it doesn't?

And it's true, isn't it?

How easy is this game when it doesn't matter?

And if we could only play that way more often, it would be amazing.

And I wasn't interested in the golf.

The golf was secondary.

I was wanting a job.

I was watching what I was saying more than I was what I was playing, you know, and I just happened to hold a few pots and I chipped in and something.
