having won it and Phil and I not have won the US Open you thought surely you know surely we'd have won it between us there must have been almost a dozen times where we had opportunities the pair of us

And it came down to, yeah, Winged Foot especially.

I'm going back to Winged Foot 2006, where we were both leading on the last tee.

And we both double bogeyed the blooming last hole, for goodness sake.

I think it was just fate that we're never going to win that tournament, the pair of us, you know.

And that was my closest one, really, I suppose.
