and i used the same brokerage and basically over the course of 12 months i i transferred 500 000 euro 511 000 euro and i bought 10 bitcoin and um then i off the back of a token or a coin or an asset that i was watching that i thought was going to skyrocket it did i switched all my bitcoin into a coin called xrp and i have all this in paperwork ledgers bookkeeping you name it and um

the coin did well and April, maybe four years ago, I got a phone call from the same friend that recommended and it's not his fault.

No, by the way, he just gave one friend some, some advice.

And, um, he phoned me and he says, Kyle, where's your cryptocurrency?

I said, it's in the same place.

You told me I was good to send this.

I said, why?

He said, um, the person that owns that company is dead.

And he said, they've, um, they've taken their own life.

so I was very very sorry to hear that because this person I was dealing with on a daily basis almost weekly certainly for 12 months and we became friends I didn't think for a second that it was anything to do with the money I just thought when I went through some personal issues didn't think for a second plus it was a legit company a limited company

offices in Cork in Dublin there was another director there was staff I reached out I offered my condolences after a few weeks gave them plenty of reading space so there was two directors running the company but they were two brothers so I understood that okay even though the director has an obligation as a limited company he's just lost his brother so give him a few weeks so I gave him a few weeks I reached out and I said look I'm so sorry you've lost your brother I was pretty close with him lovely guy didn't mention the money two weeks later I was trying to buy North Dock and um
