So within two days of that conversation, she had herself and a barrister were in the High Court on my behalf.
And first we froze the company to stop them trading, stop them getting anything out of the bank account.
And then we went for an order of discovery.
It's pretty much what it sounds like.
Basically, send us your bank statements and everything.
They just sent back a load of nonsense, like just 300 pages of crap that no one could decipher.
And at the end of the third day, my solicitor said, look, the bill here is about 27,000.
Do you want to keep going?
And she just basically says, look, Carl, a man is dead, right?
He didn't do it for nothing.
Did he do it because he lost your money?
Maybe, maybe not.
We'll never know.
But your money's gone, you know?
And she said, like, she said, we can keep going to court.
Like the High Court, Brenda, 10 grand a day kind of thing.
So I kind of made a decision then to stop going to the High Court.
Now the case is still open.
The company's still frozen.
I have a decision where I need to go with it.
