So I don't know if that's as big of a driving force as it, as it used to be.
I'm a proponent of the 2014 playoff.
I think the more opportunities that we have and that you give student athletes to be able to compete, the better.
Having gone through and played in it last year, it was really cool.
And hadn't necessarily felt that before to where, yeah, you're playing for the next opportunity to play, right?
And I think that's a great thing for the sport.
I think it's a great thing for our athletes and, you know,
something that I think fans and fan bases alike would really enjoy.
I think we're moving in that direction.
I mean, there's been a lot of things that we've been working on the last six months with our administration and with boosters and fans and kind of building the infrastructure to
to where it needs to be to get where we want to go.
I do believe we're capable of that.
We have great, great support.
Our fans are extremely passionate and have a very, very long history of sustained success and credit to the people that have come before us that have put our athletic department and our programs in a good place to be able to do that.
I mean, it's definitely a whirlwind.
I mean, all of this happens two days after you play a, you know, a rivalry game and finish up your season.
And, you know, Coach Kleiman and I's relationship was very, very special and always has been and was not expecting for him to reach out that next Monday and that that was in his mind that it was his time to be done.
I mean he's an unbelievable person an unbelievable football coach and I thought he was going to coach you know a little while longer and but that
wasn't the case and the time was right.
