You know, they're going to do whatever it takes, you know, to have that winning edge and, and,
And, you know, it was a fun experience.
There was a lot of new coaches and defensive coordinators to go against and puzzles to solve.
Some very historical, you know, venues that, you know, even just as a football fan myself, right, that you're able to see and be a part of and experience was I'm very grateful for.
Well, you know, I want Avery to be Avery, you know, and I want him to be very, very free, play loose, play confident, be very, have a great grasp of what we're asking him to do, what we're, the situation we're putting him to go against defensively and not try to do too much, you know, and just be himself and, and,
We're going to build it, obviously, around him in that way and have him cut it loose and be the best he can be.
If you start thinking too much about that, in some ways that's how it opens yourself up to injury or a weird situation.
situation um more which is kind of weird you know I tried to uh yeah there's there's times where you can be smart but at the end of the day you got to run that ball like it's the last time you're ever going to touch it and um play as hard as you can for as long as you can and and I think that's a big reason why I didn't get hurt you know with the amount of carries that I had and
our run game was very intricate and, you know, in some of those schemes with the amount of hats and blockers we were getting or pullers we had, you know, kind of just,

I don't know if that's instinct or just basic survival, you know, stay behind your blockers.
But no, I mean, I think it's a little bit of both.
And then it's a lot of repetition, you know, and trying to make sure that we're putting our guys in positions through practice and through spring and through summer to make sure that they're getting the pictures they need to be successful.
Well, we're going to be a developmental program.
We want to dominate this seven-hour radius that we have in a lot of the cities and areas that we're locationally close to.
I think high school football is as important as it's ever been.
I think getting 20-ish kids a year out of high school every year is really important to the stability of your program.
And that's something that we're going to hang our hat on.
