Actually, that's one of the two-pointer attempts that dropped short.
We mentioned earlier that they had no wides from two-pointers, but that dropped short and it's fortune.
And it's something that happens that sometimes match officials, when they're watching the flight of the ball, they don't always get the player in the square.
It really is.
And until somebody is sitting, standing at the bottom of posts and actually doing that, there is so much going on.
I sometimes wonder, how do referees, how did they get the advance marks?
Computing to be able to say, well, was he outside the 45-meter line?
And is he inside?
Is he within the lines?
You're watching so many lines here.
40-meter arc, the 45-meter line to determine, well, one's a score.
If they are outside the arc, it's from 40 metres, and it's a point attempt, and it's a score.
So you're computing different things and different lines all the time.
So there's a lot to absorb there, and it's very easy to say they should have got it, and they probably should have.
There's enough there, but sometimes it slips through the cracks.
I would assume the same technology that detects whether a ball goes through the flight path, goes through the posts, can pick up whether it has crossed the line too.

tv replays here yeah and obviously there's a reluctance to analyze everything because then you're going back well was that a foul and was it a double hop but i think if you limited it to the legality of a goal in terms of did it cross the line and maybe even the square ball to make sure things like that they're massive calls they are huge game defining having said that if you use a square ball but then you say you can go further out you go further out does the ball cross the line
I think that should be the determinant factor.
