There's a clock in the stadium, you look up at it, you see that it's ticking towards 77 minutes.
It did take...
uh a minute to treat tim o'mahony there was a minute the free earlier at the other end around the 71st minute that took a minute so that's for the additional time because tim o'mahony is fouled between the 75th and 76th minute and it takes so so at that stage the game is over there that minute delay and there was a couple of sidelines but there was no injuries and only one substitution in added time so
The grounds for extending the time, there wasn't huge grounds to extend the time.
Obviously, Tim O'Mahony had to be treated, so that's going to push it on.
But I think the question any Cork player would ask, did they ask the referee?
That's a fascinating one.
That's the other side.
And look, there's no obligation on the referee to tell.
If he's asked out of courtesy, of course he would say, he says, you've got to go for this.
There would be.
And that is done.
And that is common practice.
I think if they launched it into the box, I think he would have allowed...
it to develop at that stage.
I don't think he would have blown it that close.
But when he saw two passes as it was, Coleman back into a man, that was it, you've had your chance.
I don't think Cork can really complain about that unless he turned a deaf ear to them if they asked.
But they should have been asking.
They should have been asking the referee.
