And there are some very strong voices around that management table who I wouldn't think would take too kindly to Mary McAleese's comments when they reflect on them.
But it isn't a good look for the GAA when a former president of Ireland has excoriated them in such a manner.

And it is a crisis for them.

further space and further discussions around the clear sticking points and obviously there is governance issues and there are other issues but it's down to where does the money come from
I still don't think the structure thing is the biggest problem.
Yes, there would be, I'm sure there would be some element of redundancy.
I don't think redundancy was ever really discussed by the SGI.
Now, it could be corrected on that, but I think there was along the principle that everybody would retain what it was.
But I think the sticking point was equity versus equality.
This equity business was brought into the mix.
Like the membership, you mentioned the single membership, single code, so someone is not paying into, a girl is not paying into the LGFA and the Camogie Association.
And if they wanted to be GA members as well, well, they'd have to pay into a third.
That would be gone.
And I think that is the first thing that will fall or that will come into practice in this.
And I think it will come in quickly and it should because
a bit extreme for somebody to be paying two and even three memberships to three different organizations that are effectively veering towards being the one into the future so i i still think it was the equity over over equality the equity is well what you what you take in you output so in other words the gates you receive work off them the sponsorship you receive we'll give you a little bit
We'll take you in on all the committees and coaching and games, integrating all of that, IT, all the other elements.
