That brought it down to five.
And quite quickly after that shot, Kerry had another score.
It actually took it down to six.
So that shot by Sean O'Shea was probably reflective of
his malaise on the day.
Joe O'Connor, who was terrific in last year's All-Ireland final and certainly in the early stages to get that stranglehold, never got a run either.
And Thomas Sullivan, you know, he's played a lot of football in the league after a campaign with Dingle as well.
He obviously wants to get back up to speed after missing the latter stages of the All-Ireland final or the latter stages of the All-Ireland series last year.
So a lot of that came together and
on top of that, general fatigue, yes, they were off, but off by as much as they were, that's what they really delve into.
Yeah, and he raised the issue of the three club championships in Kerry, or the three championships, the district championship, the club championship and the county championship that they all contribute.
And this is nowhere else.
And he beats that drum quite often that after Kerry players play with their clubs, they have to play with their
clubs or their districts in the county championship and then go off and into uh mid carry or south carry or uh east carry championships and whatever else but i think the players the carry players would have been quite sparing in their involvement in some of those district championships i don't have the the numbers for who played what with their districts but obviously the dingle players had uh had an extended campaign um he intimated dunny gall were were uh
at it training early and they probably were and that's probably a year round cycle for them and it shows in their movement they're an extremely athletic team and Kerry probably just aren't up to that level of athleticism just yet The main protagonist yesterday wasn't playing in terms of Paddy Clifford from last year's All-Ireland Final he was talking about so much and what Donegal did or didn't do like if he's playing yesterday say everything's the same but he's fit and he's playing what do you think that game looks like?
Down the line that I think probably Donegal are planning for Paulie Clifford with Finn Barorti based on some of the matchups in the league, particularly Ryan O'Donoghue in the Mayo game.
Donegal won that well.
It was the third league game in Leverett County.
And Finbar Rorty picked up Ryan O'Donoghue and did pretty well on him that day.
And I think he's tailor-made for the type of game that Poddy plays.
