And when you're in an interaction with a small child or even a teenager, you just want to stop the tantrum happening rather than looking to where is this pointing?

And just taking that time

And oftentimes it takes the intervention of somebody like me to kind of say, what might that have been about, mom?

You know what I mean?

And what might that?

And it's so interesting.

Like I always say, like it's there's two truths in the room.

You know, like what the parents are saying is not untrue.

What the child is saying is untrue.

I always say it's like two people looking at the number six from either side.

To me, it's the six.

I'm looking at it.

But you're looking at it and you're saying it's a nine to me.

Right.

And it's the same thing, but just seeing from a different view.

So a child might say, my mother doesn't care about me or I'm invisible or whatever the case may be.

And you'd say to mom, your daughter feels a little bit invisible.

And she'll say, what?
