Because I did a lot of history, especially when I had gone there before.
I wanted to know more about the history of the place.
And so I looked a lot at how the whole revolution took place, etc., how it was fought.
And then once Castro himself came in and almost the counter-revolution they put down, etc.,
And there was so much of that battle that happened.
And the fact that the Castro version originally succeeded because they went into the mountains, they went out of the major cities, and then they had these guerrilla operations, different bases, which are extremely difficult to find.
And they can hide nearly anywhere.
And they did for all this time, even though they had the whole army out in
looking for him when Batista was still in power.
That same kind of terrain still exists.
And if we go in there this time thinking that this is going to be another Venezuela, we may end up finding it's going to be another Vietnam because there's a lot of similarities between those two.
And if the Cubans don't roll over like the Venezuelans do and they say, yeah, we're going to be a price to pay on you.
I mean, look, we're already overextended
by stuff we've been given to Ukraine, by stuff we've been given to Israel, and now the stuff we're expending on a regular basis here in Iran, we don't have the assets.
We can't spread ourselves out and get into another fight because we might not even be able to win it.
See, there's this assumption that it's going to be like Venezuela.
I'm not sure at all that's a good assumption because I think the Cubans probably would put up a struggle, and they probably would fight, and they definitely have a history of it.
You know, when I first saw that, I thought, this is fake news.
There's no way they would do this.
And from a friend of mine, I got a source who has access to people who were involved in the war down there, and they said, no, it's legit that they actually did pass this off.
