He's not a standout by any means.

It's all nonsense.

But here's the problem.

And I've had people say this to me directly.

They said, look, okay, I accept the fact that you're right, McGregor.

You say the Russian military is greater, stronger, more powerful than it's been in 30 years.

And you're saying that this is a force that's ready to fight, it's ready to act decisively.

All right, why hasn't it done that?

And if they don't do something, then the only conclusion I can reach is they're not doing something because they can't.

And that is the position that people in Washington are taking.

And I think President Putin recognizes that.

The only way to turn this perception around is to act decisively.

So I think we stand an excellent chance of seeing that happen.

There are still many naysayers, even in Russia, who say, look, we should do it.

We should get it over with.

But we've dealt with Putin before.

He's very cautious.

He's more of a lawyer than a politician.

He's more of a lawyer than a soldier.

And people complain about that.
