And when you do that, you find out, oh, this started happening long before the zero patient, if you will.

And so that's one of the ones where, yes, there have always been.

Now we go back to Earth and Plato and things, and you find out it was there.

You just didn't notice it before.

Well, like I say, the time frame is off by a decade or so.

Well, Elizabeth was the head of my doctoral committee.

And that's one of these strange stories.

I had answered some questions before, and one of them was, was there an event that changed it?

No, there are just so many of them.

What had happened is...

I was in OE school in California and had seen some tapes where she was now talking about near-death experiences.

This would have been 77, 78 time frame.

And she had come to lecture, and then there was a workshop that I attended on my own.

And it was very unusual in that about 50% of the people who were in attendance were medical professionals.

About a quarter of the people were, like me, just kind of interested.

The other quarter were dying.

So from an emotional standpoint, this is really an intense kind of workshop, very different.

And so I was stationed at Fort McPherson in Atlanta at the time, and I just sent her a letter that was kind of a, gee, thanks.

It was very impactful and whatnot, because these do get emotionally intense, as you can imagine.
