I got to meet the guy.
It turned out he hadn't written the article.
I forget the guy's name.
He took that and wrote a book.
What happened was he said they got more response to that article than anything he had ever written, and it was 99% against them.
Everybody was saying, well, of course the Soviets are doing this.
We ought to be doing that and whatnot.
He actually showed me the draft article, which was written positively, and they just flipped a few words from, look at the neat stuff they're doing to look at how they're wasting your money and whatnot.
Fast forward.
After that happens, again, I'm literally in the bowels of the Pentagon, and this lieutenant colonel comes roaring in.

Don't you know the process for getting it cleared?
He said, yes, why?
And why I had the file there, I don't know, but I happened to have one.
He says, what office are you from?
And it had been from Axie, this isn't cheap as that.
Or I just fast forward a number of years later, and we're doing a spoon-dending party, and this guy raises his hand, and the colonel's on him.
