Um it's gonna be good to be coming north of the border again and um
Experience what it's gonna be like to be a leaf.
Um I'm I'm pumped.
Um not not too close with anybody actually.
I know um Mo Riley a little bit from um skating together out west in the summers back in the day, but um yeah, kind of a fresh slate for me um coming into the locker room.
So it'll be it'll be good to meet some some new guys and uh get to know everybody.

I mean obviously it's a it's a challenge with uh all the newness coming in like you mentioned and um a lot of new players in the locker room too.
So I think uh I think just coming in I'm just gonna be myself and try to bring guys together and um kind of establish just a good vibe in the locker room and obviously put in the work and and try to be a leader for us and um yeah, just keep it simple and just try to get everybody on the same page as fast as possible.
Yeah, I mean obviously the opportunity to to put the maple leaf sweater on is is probably number one.
Um that's a pretty special experience for any player and um it's tough to pass off uh an opportunity like that and um speak with John and um just hearing what their plans were and um the additions that they were making and saw some of those come across uh i in the morning there and um so that was really exciting too, I think uh
uh we're gonna be able to turn this thing around pretty quick and and have a solid year.
I mean it's great to shorten up camp obviously as a as an older fella, but uh I think we gotta really be dialed in for those games.
Um it's not a lot of runway like I mentioned and um yeah, just not a lot of time to work out the kinks.
So we gotta be dialed in and really take those games serious and and um have good showings and and feel good about ourselves heading into game one.
