And I think that took me a while, definitely.
Because the first thing, like, it's interesting that when I left Munster, I thought my world was ending.
And I thought that, you know, this is my old personality.
You know, everyone who meets me is how you get on with the rugby.
If I'm ever meeting old friends and family, even if people are meeting my mom, I was kind of getting on with the rugby.
And then that was gone.
And I was definitely...
I didn't feel how done by because I could see it coming but it's just never nice I suppose when you're getting told that you're being let go I suppose um so I took a good few months where I needed to just a break from rugby completely I've been non-stop since I was I think 15 years old like no Christmases no summers no nothing you know what I mean just constantly like no just non-stop until I was 23 so um
Yeah, I can watch rugby now.
I think I had to get out of Limerick, though, because I was like, I can't be walking down the street and seeing all the boys in the new kit and, you know, just walk past.
And that was just me.
And I know it's probably, it's petty, but I was like, I need a new start, a fresh start.
And then as time came on, it was just, like I said, it was just interesting that, like,
I hated talking about rugby or anything to do with rugby when I was involved in it, you know, and it's when I got home with my friends on the weekend or something, they'll be like, Oh, what's going on with this injury?
Oh, is he going to play?
And I'd be like, boys, please.
Can I just have a minute away from it?
But now I love chatting about rugby.
I love watching it.
