I don't want to be there for two weeks and then miss the two weeks because I'm at an event or a photo shoot or something stupid like that.
So I think, yeah, look, we'll see.

Yeah, I think I didn't get back into the Sevens until February 2025.
So I'd been in there around 2021, 22, and then took a couple of years out.
And then I was obviously just living in Dublin.
I spent well in the IEL.
So I came back in in February, 2025.
And at that stage, I think I'd maybe had the initial call with Love Island, but nothing was set in stone again.
So I was thinking, this is probably not going to have any substance to it.
So then went back, I went to Vancouver, I went to Hong Kong, Singapore, and I just had LA.
Now the whole time I came back, so it was February, I think,
players kind of had an idea of what was going on now there was still hope and we were still told you know perform in this tournament you give yourself a chance to perform in this tournament you give yourself a chance so that's what we did I think we pulled out in Singapore I think that would have been only a couple of weeks before it was announced I think we beat France who just won the Olympics the year before um
and we did we beat New Zealand I think we came close anyway you know so we we had like we and we didn't have an experienced team it was a young team trying to find their feet I think obviously it was the year after Olympics so it was being seen as a development year and then halfway through the season we get told if you don't perform and if you don't finish here you're gone so it well yeah it wasn't supposed ideal um but I think for me I was I was devastated I
But I don't think I can say I was as devastated at the boys who'd been there from the start, you know, as in, cause that's an incomparable, like the amount they sacrificed and the amount that they put on the line and, you know, building that up from the ground, like they were playing tournaments, it seems like Kazakhstan and stuff like that.
And from, from 10 years beforehand, and then to build it up to a finished third, um,
in a World Series or I think the second or third in the World Cup they finished second in one of the tournaments you know and it's just like Ireland were seen as a good team on the series and a sticky team and a hard team to play against you know
