Uh, being fully honest, I think I was earmarked as quite young, um, from when I was quite young as being, you know, uh, a good talent, I suppose, or having potential.
Um, and being fully honest, I think, yeah, I wouldn't say it got to my head.
I just think I never realized the extent that I would need to work in it for want of a better word.
Uh, you know, I got to where I was probably just all off natural talent.
Um,
And it's definitely, I don't have many regrets.
It's probably a regret that I have that I never, you know, gave it 100%.
But it's worked out the way it is, the way it has.
And I'm really happy with how it's going.
But yeah, I think at that time period, I just played in the under 26 nations.
We just won the Grand Slam with the team at like,
Ryan Baird Craig Casey Ben Healy Harry Brown all these like really players that have gone on to do sick things since and I think it was around that time period where I was just like oh I don't know if I'm on that level you know and I feel talent wise maybe for another couple of months I can stay there but I don't probably want it as much as these guys and
But at that time, I'm 19.
I've kind of sacrificed a lot to be in the position I am.
And then to only realize at that time that I don't know if I really want this.
It's quite tough because I can't turn around to everyone and be like, well, you can.
But I think as an inner pressure inside you as a 19 year old, I can't really turn around and tell people, oh, I want to do something else.
I want to do this.
I want to do that.
