But, like, Kerry aren't tied down to Paddy Clifford as a playmaker.
Yeah, they're seriously coming back to the boil.
They've learned the lessons from the All-Ireland final last year in a very serious way.
The refusal to admit the wrongness of the Paddy Clifford thing last year reminded me a bit about Dublin last year.
And Donegal in 2014, whereas at halftime it was very obvious what was happening.
And Dublin were like, no, this is our system and we have full faith in it.
And it was only in retrospect.
They had no recourse on the day to change.
And I think no team learns their lessons quite as well as Donegal do.
And you could even see it in the league final.
when they used their quicker players to go into the inside forward line on the Kerry kick-out to make sure that they got nothing away quickly.
They've grown.
They're at least 30% a better team now than they were in last year's All-Ireland Final because they have developed a way to beat Kerry.
I came away from Dr. Hyde Park a couple of weeks ago after the Connacht final and I couldn't wait to see Roscommon again.
They were just such an entertaining and electrifying team to watch.
And it is like one of the great clichΓ©s, you know, you can get your head around Roscommon winning the Connacht Championship, but, you know, getting to a big game, beating big opposition from a different province, winning the game in Crowe Park...
This has always been their glass ceiling.
And I was in Parnell Park yesterday and I was just looking at my social media feed and I saw a GAA Plus post and I looked and it was Dara Heenan doing exactly what he did in the Connacht final and sashaying his way through about four layers of a thrown defence.
And somehow, 10 yards out from goal, looking like he had all day to settle himself and pick a lovely finish.
And I thought, Roscommon are going to fly this now and...
