Extremes don't make for good rules.
Do you know what I mean?
This is a very extreme example.
And it's this extreme example that you say, well, the rule doesn't work.
Yeah, just the way in the history of the GAA.
The only thing is, Michael Murphy's going to have to be a very careful man for the rest of summer because he has done this before, pretending to tackle with your closed fists.
He made contact with the head here, but he had made contact with his ribs previously.
It was fairly anonymous though as well like at one stage when Donegal got the first great press on Shane Murphy's kickouts I think after four in a row he went long and it was Clifford who broke the ball in the middle of the pitch like he was coming out there to get it but the thing that I wanted to see when we could see Gavin Mulroney stepping up and marking whoever was inside.
was why don't you put David Clifford in there like does Gavin Mulroney want to be going up for a ball on the edge of the square with David Clifford and I thought that when Kennedy came on then just before half time that he would be the target man inside because obviously with Clifford you kind of need to have his threat outside the arc as well just to keep the Donegal defence honest
Yeah, totally.
There were summers there with Dublin, like when Philly was playing, where...
there was only one debate and it was like, are the dubs going to be beaten?
Who could beat them and how are they going to beat them?
That was literally it.
We start bringing them debates back up now for Cary.
But like that was literally it.
And in terms of having a conversation around it, having a bit of excitement, the buzz around the championship, it just didn't make for much of it.
Whereas I think now Kerry being the massive favourites before the weekend and justifiably so.
Like when you're all Ireland champions, you do come back late.
You are a little bit behind in terms of fitness availability.
