And all the things we talk about, I know nearly every conversation about football is kind of coloured by the rules, but they have a lot of the things you need.
They have a goalkeeper who has a really long kick.
That sounds really basic, but you do need it.
They have a lot of pace up front.
They have a lot of good kickers at the ball.
In Jack Flynn, they have a midfielder who just puts himself around all over the place.
Yeah, but like, you know, how would you put this?
Jim McInnes and Jack O'Connor are two of the more sort of Machiavellian managers in how they, in the things they say, fully aware of how they're going to be perceived.
And
Like, what is the league only like a jumble sale of competing priorities?
You know, you have some teams that are back early, some teams want to get promotions, some teams aren't arsed, some teams are, you know, timing their run.
And generally speaking, they don't kind of come straight out and say it.
But I think that the Division One final yesterday has to be taken on its merits.
Included in which is that Kerry were like shy lots of players and didn't have the same energy about it.
But you can't I don't think you can write anything off as just being well it was just a league final like all the teams who played at the weekend have a couple of weeks before they have to at the very minimum before they have to play in the championship.
And, like, you are what you do every day.
So, like, there's no way that they're training for the championship and then, OK, we'll drop the performance level here for the league final and pick it back up on Tuesday again.
So, I mean, as much as we kind of sort of write the league off our laugh or scorn it in some ways, I don't think you can do that.
It's very rare that the team gets blown out of the water and then all of a sudden looks like all Ireland contenders two weeks later.
It just tends not to happen.
