As you know, the sort of whole broadcasting world has gone very, you know, there's so many different, I mean, I was listening to your show earlier on, you speak of all the, you know, the server, the streaming services, you know, and there's so many different ways to watch sport now.
And I think in the old days, you know, you could be a Michal Amir-Hertig or you could be a John Motsen.
And you knew that for the rest of your life, you're doing the FA Cup final.
You're doing the All-Ireland final because you are the commentator of the station that is always going to have it.

competition or this game um and and to be fair bbc have been really great about it because i still have a contract with them i still do match of the day uh i still do bbc radio five live i'm here in munich to do the radio commentary tonight of the the bayern munich paris saint germain game so they sort of said look you can you can kind of the best of both worlds here you can still work for us but as long as you leave your staff job you can go off and work for other people too so um yeah i did that a few years ago and yeah it's definitely worked out being being the right decision

We don't know who's going to get relegated.
I'm aware, you know, that what you're alluding to there about people think it's the quality of football isn't great this year.

So many late games.

I mean, Liverpool last year had the league title won by now.
They won the league in April.
