And the transfer stations are key to all of this.
There's over 100 transfer stations in the country.
And if the state doesn't own the transfer stations, it can't tender the service.
So it has to acquire a huge amount of infrastructure before it can tender anything.
And that's a cost of between one and one point eight billion.
And that gets passed on to the public.
No, it's not more efficient.
It has evolved that way in those countries because the state has controlled the transfer stations and the state has controlled the big infrastructure.
In Ireland, we've spent billions on infrastructure and it's all private sector at this point.
You know, the public want choice because we actually commissioned Ipsos B&A to do a survey on this, you know, as they do with a thousand people.
And satisfaction rating, there was only 6% of people dissatisfied.
Now, that's really good performance for a utility, particularly waste management utility.
Two thirds of the public want the existing system.
That came out of that survey.
Only one third would like a single operator appointed.
So you'd have to ask yourself why, you know, because they know it means more trucks, but they prefer to have more trucks and choice than have a single truck.
And it's not a single truck.
I mean, I had an experience in Toronto a few years ago where I was over for a wedding.
And I was packing the car on a Saturday morning, you know, for a couple of hours.
We were just in and out of the house we were staying in.
