I was genuinely wondering why my feed was suddenly blowing up.

I briefly wondered if you were riding the wave of the new Netflix King adaptations.

um everyone who had been uh already subscribed to the stephen king cast back in january i believe i was reworking reordering um uh all of the the podcast episodes so that it really was streamlined and i did some re-editing to older episodes and so i was re-uploading which meant that everyone's feeds were blowing up so i do apologize for that thank you for being uh patient through that whole process everybody

I'm really wanting to say thank you for both the current episodes and the older ones.

I first started listening back in 2018 during COVID when I was stuck indoors here in the UK.

I decided to reread Needful Things, a particular favorite from my early teens back when I tore through King's doorsteps like It, Christine, and Misery.

From there, I made the widely optimistic decision to read everything in order without quite realizing what a monumental undertaking it would be.

I'm almost caught up now with just Under the Dome and Sleeping Beauties, a pair of larger novels left.

By the way, I tried to keep up with the TV and film adaptations too, many of which I wouldn't even have known about if it weren't for the podcast.

That's been a tougher task, especially as some aren't available on streaming and didn't get aired on over here ever.

I was particularly gutted after buying a Region 2 DVD of Needful Things, only to discover they'd cut around 45 minutes from it.
