Anyway, so Stephen continues, I also think that the Rob Lowe's Salem lot is hugely underseen gem and certainly better than the most recent adaptation.
Sometimes I'd wish they'd just leave the classics alone.
I'm aware the irony, the Toby Hooper version is still the best.
Though I no doubt will see Christine and Misery remade again before long.

um have recently seen the 2004 one i don't think that i gave a full in-depth review of the more recent adaptation i believe i i did put give some thoughts but it wasn't i don't believe that it was really that much in depth um so i would like to kind of go back to that at some point and kind of give the overall statement thought processes on um on the state of salem's lot
Okay, and then it still amazes me that King's work is responsible for some of the best literature and cinema ever made.
Carrie, Shawshank, Stand By Me, Salem's Lot, as well as some less stellar efforts.
Lisey's Story, Storm of the Century, The New Running Man.
Haha, yes.
That is something that I have been struggling with that astounds me as I've been making my way through these TV adaptations.
There are just some that are atrocious.
And it's like, this is coming from the same person who gave us The Mist and Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me and The Long Walk.
