I've read everything except Elevation, Sleeping Beauties, and The Institute, although I'm working on that one.

I recently introduced King to a co-worker and she loves him.

My question for you is, should Insomnia read between Dark Tower books or before starting them?

She's a long way from the Tower, but I'm trying to steer her in the right direction.

Personally, I read Insomnia prior to any of the DT books, and honestly, I didn't love it.

I'm currently listening to Insomnia on audiobook, hoping to get a better appreciation for it.

So let me answer that.

I think most oftentimes when there is something that is connected to something else, I think that the best way

way to ingest it is to follow the creative processes and path laid by the author, okay?

And so I would say I would, if this person is going to be getting into the Dark Tower saga at large, to simulate the reading experience as close to the publication as you could have.

So read Salem's Lot.

read The Stand.

Then you can get into the Talisman.

Then you can read The Dark Tower.

And then The Drawing of the Three.

Then The Wastelands.

Black House.

And then what am I missing?

I'm sure that I'm missing some.

Then, you know, then the collections in Everything's Eventual.
