She has since passed, but the one thing I love about King is his talent for imagery and characterization with the main character.

I vividly remembered the girl eating shrimp and the color of it.

Same thing with Christine, the scene of the rotting

body in the back seat.

The podcast has really made me reflect on why I love him and you put my thoughts into words I uh wouldn't have ever thought of.

I've been a huge fan of your podcast since about two thousand fifteen-sixteen, and I'm very glad to see that you are back posting more regularly.

I often use your podcast after I've read something new or reread uh an old favorite from Psy King.

But I especially love your it episodes and have listened to them God knows how many times, so thank you for that.

Regularly gets me through sleepless nights with my little girls or even when I have more admin tasks at work.

Years ago you mentioned a book that you recommended called Ghost Road Blues and its trilogy books as a kind of Stephen King.

Um, if he finally made a book based around the time of Halloween.

I was intrigued by the suggestion alone, found it on Amazon, shoved it on the wish list, and forgot about it for years.

It was coming up to my birthday in early March, so I had to dig through my wish list trying to figure out what I wanted and came across the book again in my wish list.

Needless to say, I bit the bul bullet.

and started to read it as soon as it arrived.

I quickly tore my way through the first book in just over a week, a feature which is good for me, uh normally being a slow reader, and the other two books sitting in my two read pile on my bedside table.
