AIB proudly celebrate the joy, dedication and support that lies at the heart of Gaelic games in every community and player across the nation.
We're going to get to Kerry and Donegal and Jim McGuinness and all the slash points there and in Cork.
And that's why I've gathered Colm Keyes and Conor McKeown.
So we have Colm, Conor and Conor here.
Our very own CCC to deliberate over this weekend.
And we have to start with Kilkenny because Conor, you were at Parnell Park.
The six in a row Leinster champions are out of the whole championship.
And you were there to witness Dublin beat them for what?
The second time in 84 years?
Yeah, it was high Dublin.
They wore it so lightly, like this big occasion.
And it was an arm's length performance.
Even when Kilkenny looked like they had a bit of a gallop, Dublin didn't see it.
yeah liam rush might not have believed that he'd still be here 13 years later uh colin in terms of kilkenny because that is potentially the bigger story and that's probably saying something about dublin and their progress as well but connor said about kilkenny nosediving but i think the eye test sort of suggests that as well that they have been on the decline but they still won six lancer championships in a row like i mentioned i looked
The last four years, they've actually been beaten by the eventual All-Ireland winners every year in either the semi-final or the final, and most of those by narrow margins.
So even the last two years, they lost to Tip by two, they lost to Clare by two, they lost to Limerick in a final two years in a row.
One of them by two points.
So Kilkenny still had that Kilkenny-ness about them, but my God, they're out of the whole thing now just suddenly.
Conor to ask a crass question I suppose you're talking about Neil Callaghan and the sophistication that Dublin have Sunday game that sort of good piece of analysis last night where Kilkenny were just lumping it sometimes from the full back line just TJ's up there let's just hit it in his direction is there any fault of this at Derek Ling's door like could that be improved that is definitely a coaching aspect to how poorly they played yesterday
Well, Neil Callaghan was impressive afterwards as well, because obviously last year he beat Limerick and then went on to get hammered by Cork.
