Our goal is for our gear to disappear when you're using it.
we want the focus to be 100% on the hunt.
So when we have product development meetings, like we just hired a new designer.
His name is Justin.
He's awesome.
In the first meeting with Justin, when he was onboarding,
In that presentation, we talked about your goal is to make our gear disappear for the user.
And the reason for that is because we talk about friction for hunters in general.
If you're a newer hunter, a younger hunter, there's all these points of friction throughout the process, right?
That a lot of times ends up steering people away from hunting.
so our goal is always to reduce that friction and one of those points of friction is the gear and the cognitive load that it causes right yeah you got to think about your your knots and how to set up your saddle and how to set up your sticks if that's too much to think about you're not thinking about the hunt and yeah it's right becomes frustrating good point so we always talk about that so I thought that was interesting that you brought that up very quickly
Well, it's a content creator's dream, right?
Well, no, but it has been...
uh grabbed onto by media and it now there are there are endless ways you could go with a saddle setup right there are endless hitch knots you could tie on your ropes and endless ways to set up your your backpack and you can do things in several different ways and so it's spiraled into this like yeah crazy content atmosphere which ends up being very confusing yeah and for you know i don't know your specific hunting situation but
For the guy who has it dialed in, has their system dialed in, maybe there's not a reason, right?
But saddles do have a place, and that place is when a plan either doesn't exist, like me, when I get to October 1st, the season opens, I haven't even, I've done nothing.
I don't have cameras out.
I haven't scouted because I got my job, I got my kids.
And I just I want to get away for a week and figure it out on the fly.
That's where saddles really thrive.
