right the conversion to a saddle or the addition of a saddle is very easy yeah it's as simple as instead of a tree stand now you're integrating a plat saddle platform and that's a third of the size yeah yeah yeah but otherwise your process is exactly the same you're climbing the tree with your climbing sticks your backpack is basically the same setup
And so the addition of a saddle in that scenario is very easy if you are already a mobile hunter with a tree stand.
It's no problem.
Now, if you're hunting out of ladder stands, primarily, that's where you're going to have, there's more work to be done.
But in that scenario, it's still very similar from a process standpoint, right?
You're climbing up your ladder on your ladder stand.
currently with a saddle setup you're climbing with climbing sticks instead of sitting in your ladder stand you are standing on a saddle platform instead of your tree stand harness you are wearing a saddle and that is the only difference you're not it's not adding steps to your process it's just simply swapping in how you get up the tree what you're standing on and how you're connected to the tree yeah one thing i like about the saddle too like
It's like, well.
I mean, that doesn't make any sense to me.
I mean, if you're going in for a morning hunt,
You are getting you know, ideally you're getting in there an hour before daylight.
So you have plenty of time Yeah, go slow and quiet take your time.
And then if you're going in for an evening hunt now There are certain situations where speed matters in an evening hunt at least sometimes for us, right?
If you're trying to hit that thermal pull and you need to get in there in that half hour before dark Yeah, sure.
You need to go a little quicker but you know the speed of getting set up really is is
kind of irrelevant, in my opinion, most of the time.
Yeah.
And we do talk about speed a lot.
And for us, the speed aspect is important, not because moving fast guarantees success.
But when we talk about speed, we mean that learning faster is important.
