I felt a swollen lymph node next to the one that they had removed.
And I was like, dang it, I know what this is.
And so I went back to MD Anderson and did a biopsy.
And sure enough, it's melanoma again.
It's cancer.
And it's in a different lymph node, obviously.
And so that puts it at stage 3C.
And so they sit me down and start having very serious conversations with me.
This is advanced.
Start going over all the horrible statistics.
I mean, I just know melanoma in itself is very, very deadly.
And the higher you get in staging, the worse it is.
Right.
But honestly, I didn't allow myself to, like, I didn't Google it.
I didn't look it up, how long I might have.
Like, I just, I never, ever went down that path in my mind.
I just, I didn't.
I didn't accept it.
I wasn't denying reality or truth, but I was...
aligning my heart and my spirit and my faith with God's truth.
