I suppose what we've done over the years is we've built up trust between us and the players.

They know we're not out to get a scoop.

We're just literally there to tell their story.

That's the most important thing.

We're all sports fans.

We want to go on that little bit of a journey with them again.

It's amazing just to sit there in front of, like, Cicero or Conor and Macquarie and just hear their stories.

And sometimes it's stuff that you can't, we can't get everything on screen, but even just to have the time to sit with them is brilliant.

We're very looking for it.

Well, first of all, you have to be very upfront with them, you know, from the get-go, from the very start.

When you make the first phone call, you tell them that, like, look, we're talking about your sporting career, the highs and lows of that, but also, you know, the journey off the field to get there, to get to those points.

And he was very powerful, straight up, very upfront about it.

his own diagnosis of Parkinson's and what he's going through, what he's dealing with, and he was more kind of putting it on us.

Are we able to handle it?

Because he was well up for doing it.

So once you have that kind of trust, and once you know lads are...

they're open and they're willing to kind of go and talk about these things, then that's half the battle done.

Because they love talking about the goals and the points, but it's when you get into the stories about, as I said, how they got there, the journey to get there from their own personal life, that's when you realise how special they are.

It's not always the ones that have won everything either that are going to be the ones who have...
