Yes, that's that's been a really interesting one.

I so we actually have uh we use wheelie bins and we give them to the likes of uh oil changers or um different car yards and they every time they change oil in a car they put in a new oil filter.

Um in cars is something I'm very unfamiliar with, but I've started to learn a lot about um coolant and um and oil filters in particular because

With the oil filters, we can crush them, take the black oil out of them, and um then the oil filters themselves get sent to the scrappy.

So normally they would just go to the landfill, but we're able to actually again look at it and go, right, that's two components to this.

Yeah.

Let's take the oil, let's take the metal and divert it from landfill.

Done.

I'm fixed, I'm ready.

Our bulk win wise would one hundred percent be uh with our sump waste.

So we um I've just I've gone through a uh process a few months ago of looking um having a company in to help us look at um Otago vacuum tank services, carbon emissions.

Um because that's that's a big thing for me as I'm very aware we we operate big diesel trucks and while we not may not be able to fully

cap our carbon emissions.

I want to be doing everything we can to make sure we're looking after the Danin community the best way we can while we're, you know, removing this liquid waste.

So we went through that process and in was 2024-2025 financial year, we took just under 900 tons of sump waste to landfill.

So being able to look at

that from this year, um, you know, with the help of the commercial waste minimization grant and going, Wow, you know, that's nine hundred tons of liquid waste alone just from Otaga vacuum tank services, that's gonna be diverted from landfill and not have to

add to their extra burden that they already have.

Um and be able to create some more reusable products from that is really cool.
