And when we when that does happen, let's look at this.

So let's say someone's brace painted a swastika on a school.

Should we have d zero tolerance and push that child out of school?

Or should we educate, take this as an opportunity to educate everybody?

Restore that child to the community as a productive member of that community.

Because anyone who gets pushed out, there's a cost to that.

Yeah.

So I think that's, you know, th those are all things that parents can attempt.

And then of course the individual work around.

How are we nurturing our own self respect and our child's self respect versus putting all our eggs in this self esteem basket, which isn't giving getting us a good return on our investment?

It's not at all.

It's convenient, right?

So there's there's short games and there's long games when you're raising children or or educating children.

As a short game,

I get it, right?

A school feels like we're getting rid of the contaminants.

It never works.

Another quote unquote contaminant pops up.

Also, zero tolerance is totally connected to the school to prison pipeline.

So there's a lot of, you know, other amazing scholarly work that's gone on and reports published about that zero tolerance was a total drastic overkill.
