But then also they found that with autistic kids, they just have lower levels of folate in general.
And it's theorized it's because they're getting folic acid instead of the real folate.
And so they're not getting the folate that they need.
So I just discovered this in myself actually.
Okay, so that's probably what was happening with me.
So I found out I had MTHFR about seven years ago, and every doctor since then has been like, you need to be on methylated vitamins.
I went and saw a recent doctor, and one of my things that I was talking to him about was, I said, you know, I've always just had this low-grade anxiety where it's just like, even if I don't have anything I'm anxious about, I just am like, oh, like my body just feels kind of ramped up and anxious.
And he said, well, are you taking methylated vitamins?
And I said, yeah, I have MTHFR.
And he was like, I have 677T.
And apparently with that one specifically, if you take, but maybe it's more about what you're talking about.
But he said that if you take methylated vitamins, it's actually going to ramp up and make you more anxious.
The second that I switched back off those methylated vitamins, I have never been more chill and relaxed.
Okay.
That's very cool.
It's bad for everybody.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
And then it's in so much of our food supply because they're putting it in bread, crackers, cereal, cookies, anything that enriched flour is in, it's in it.
