To me, that's not a first-class season.

You have to make everybody play each other, like what you're doing here in County Cricket.
We should be looking to play ten games, minimum.
And I've said this when I was playing, our first-class season is too short.
And they've got it shorter.
Five games.
Five four-day games.

This year they played three.
But you played one team twice.

I don't see it in a hurry unless there's massive changes, grassroots level through the schools, in the territories and at the highest level where the boards put some structure in place.
Let's be honest, if I'm playing against you three times only, how can that be a challenge?
It's just like the same old, same old.
But if I'm playing against you and then you're the next game, it's a different challenge, right?
