I think, you know, it's probably a disservice to the guys he's lost to to suggest that he's a dominant favourite in those matches because, you know, they are really talented players.
Felix Auger, Eliassime at the US Open, Jacob Menchik at Roland Garros today, Flavio Caboli.
He made a Grand Slam final four weeks ago.
He's an inspiring talent.
He's one of the best players in the world and a top tenner.
So to think that Alex is going to walk through these matches is probably, you know, that's wrong.
But what he never used to do was get beaten consistently in matches where he was a 50-50 contender.
It's not like he's playing a sinner, an Alcaraz or a Djokovic.
He's been beaten in matches where he would have believed fully that he could win.
And if you're assessing it, it's probably, you know, a 60-40 at best.
But you think he's probably got the favourite in this match.
