So I look at it and just say, like, it doesn't make any sense to me that you have this shooting star that comes into your league.

And instead of embracing her, instead of getting behind it, you then kind of put her off out on an island where she almost has to be a villain to some.

Or it feels like that as opposed to her being the hero to so many others that watch her.

But maybe that's the point.

Maybe it's the fact that because she's polarizing to some of their own players in the WNBA.

And maybe even polarizing some of the fans out there.

That allows us to create more attention.

Because as good as the WNBA players have been in the past, it's never created this sort of discourse.

They just come across, the WNBA in general, just come across as such a nickel and dime thing.

And I do think that some of the outrage, the way she's treated, is a bit overblown.

I mean, this is physical basketball, hard fouls, whatnot.

But I also think that they have not done enough to build it up and promote it in a way to where people are going to be like,

Yeah, I want to pay attention.

I want to follow along.

I want to watch this.

I want to see I'm a casual, but get me interested.

Instead, it's turned into racial discussions and all the other things that come along with it.
