You know, your area is actually worse than mine.
I've been to your area.
I'm taking that as a compliment.
But we were like, even if you took a football out, you knew straight away you'd be getting involved in a fight with that football because someone else is going to try and take it off you.
so even we took the ball out it was like who's fighting well someone's going to try and take this you better like so it'd be like you'd have to make a pact with each other to say well if it's my ball but if someone tries to take it you better join in with us you know so you weren't allowed to play with it unless you were willing to fight if someone took it away so it was like that was just and then you'll be playing against other kids as well older kids younger kids and me being small as well and
It was quite easy to go by people and I was quick.
The amount of kicks and the amount of fights you would have off day, it just become normal.
For me, what you've seen on a Saturday at three o'clock was way worse when I was a kid growing up.
Way, way worse.
I'd probably become more aware of it then.
I was probably more aware of it, but during my career, depression was worse.
It was way worse when I was playing.
You know, the emotions, like I'd come home and I wouldn't speak for like two, three days.
You know, I had a young family as well.
I had a wife and I didn't talk.
I wouldn't talk.
And I was literally going to ruin my own and shut off everything.
Then I'd go to bed on my own.
Go to train and then do the same routine.
So, you know, that was the only way I knew of dealing with it.
