I think Alex has had enough of this.
If you go to, if you think about it, for the teams like Spain, probably,
and maybe the South Americans, maybe England, and one or two other, France, and one or two others.
You're looking at, and you're getting here before the first game starts, obviously, so you're not getting there on the day of the game.
You're getting there maybe a day or two earlier, so you could be here a good month, maybe four to five weeks.
That's 45 weeks of travel, 45 weeks of hotel, plus transatlantic flights if you're coming from Europe, and obviously if you're coming from South America, that's a good 12-hour trip.
a good 12-hour flight from most countries down there.
So you've got the transatlantic or the long-haul flights, the four or five weeks if your team goes to the semis or the finals.
You've got all the hotels, all the travel, all the food, all the beverage.
And then on top of that, FIFA are ripping you off massively on the tickets.
You try and compute, and I wouldn't want to.
And I think a lot of people are going to be of that mindset and say, listen, how the hell can I go to America for a month and then pay on top of all the cost for your transportation and your hotels, and then pay the crazy price to go in to watch a game?
And by the way, as that tournament evolves and gets to the quarters and the semis, those tickets are going up and up and up.
Particularly when the resale goes on and you get all these ticket touts going around.
So, I mean, if a fan wants to follow one of the favourites for a whole month and pay for tickets, it is going to cost, with a family, with a single, it's going to cost a lot.
With a family, that is going to cost, with these tickets and everything else involved, an absolute fortune.
