Honestly, Dan, looking at their position in the league and the importance, especially that second game, I don't see why he should have given him a two-game ban.

I agree with Frank.

I think he's walked into a clever or cheeky journalist with the question.

And I think it's a little bit of naivety that he's gone and answered it.

I think a part of him must have known that when you say these things, they're always going to get blown out of proportion.

So I think the two matches is excessive.

Would he have said the same answer if they had gone and beaten PSG?

They just came off of the back of a heavy, heavy defeat in the Champions League.

It hurts your ego.

And you become emotional and reactionary.

And he has walked into the journalist question there.

So I think it's a big learning curve.
