So if you want to make a trade, you've got to do it ahead of time because you can't sit down and go, okay, we're going to talk.

We watched general managers in the past go over and talk to another GM and everything that went with it.

That's not allowed anymore.

You have so much time.

Then if you want to make a trade, you've got to do it within a certain period of time.

So I think it limits kind of that last-minute chaos, Jeff, those last-minute scenarios where somebody goes, well, will you give us the fourth pick?

If you haven't really talked about it, it's hard to execute a trade at that time.

So you're on top of it.

You've got your finger on the pulse.

You've got your finger on the list.

You've told the scouts, hey, listen, no dithering here.

We need to know exactly what we're doing.

And I think the preparation is found by all the NHL teams.

I just don't see the same type of... It used to be like that, Jeff, where you could have some of these last-minute scenarios happen, but for the most part, because of the time constraints, you just can't execute that quickly.

Number one, you evaluate the players.

What do they mean?

How do they fit into our organization?
