i think john mara almost didn't hire this coach because he believes in a hierarchy he believes in the gm and then the coach underneath him and that's how it's supposed to be because that's how it's always been that's how it's always been he signed against that he brought in john harbour to run it but he doesn't like the idea that the organization is viewed as having a figurehead gm so you go out there and you tell them you're still the gm and you're still in charge we all know what the we all
